ILLUSTRATION

Developed as part of a Master’s research study focusing on positive representations of wheelchair users’ identities through participatory design and illustration. The illustrations depict the lived experience, memories, wishes, and desires, both positive and negative.

PUBLICATION

This body of work aims to challenge the existing preconceptions surrounding disability. By presenting a graphic memoir I aim to invite the viewer into the daily experiences with my brother, while questioning their understanding about illness and disability.
